Steve Caldwell is a musician, producer & director who was born and bred in Metro Detroit. With over 25 years in the music industry, Caldwell is a well-seasoned artist with a vast portfolio spanning Detroit, nationally and abroad. He began recording at a very young age, leading him to producing music for himself and other artists.

Caldwell has never limited himself to mastering various styles on the guitar, allowing him to span genres from funk, jazz, blues, world beat, African, Brazilian, Latin, ska, hip hop, reggae and rock. His unique and thoughtful approach to music both on stage and in the studio has led to performances filled with dynamics, originality, and tone. Caldwell surrenders his skills with heart, soul, passion and professionalism from small-scale acoustic rooms to large stadium stages.

Many artists and companies have sought out Caldwell for his brilliant ear, guitar skills and production quality. Some of his artist projects are with nationally renowned artists including Mayaeni, Sean Blackman’s In Transit, Nadir, 1592, and also produced music for Jon Michael Hill many others. He has also collaborated with Sony ATV artists and ABC network shows such as Detroit 187 and Hawaii 5-0, and also has done commercial work with Henessy and Pepsi.
