An adventure in and of itselF..

This month we are taking In Transit On the musical journey To China....
This is equaly as exciting as intriguing! We will mix traditional music from China with  Detroit's funky sounds, as well as.. Detroit's greatest hits with unique Chinese rhythms.

On the stage, Solid as a rock,  Detroit's Funkiest House Band: Sean Blackman, the producer and the visionary, on acoustic guitar, Steve Caldwell on electric guitar, James Simonson on bass, Larry Fratangelo on percussion, and Ron Otis on drums.

We are honored to share the stage with two brilliant World Class musicians representing their Incredibly rich and beautiful culture: XIAO DONG WEI on Erhu, - Chinese two-stringed violin, and a guzheng - a 21-stringed zither, and flying in from Boston, YAZHI GUO, widely known as the best Suona player.  Suona, also called laba or haidi, is a Chinese sorna (double-reeded horn).
